What can you say about this dynamic duo? I once heard Peter describe his wife as the motorboat and himself as the skier, I think this is fitting. With Peter’s knowledge of fine wine and Norwegian black metal, how could he not seem like a catch to the lovely and extremely business savvy Mara? Well, you know what they say about opposites, not only did these two attract, but they flourished! Their first venture in Lafayette was such a success, they decided Pearl Street better suited them. Over the past seven years, Tahona has proven itself to the West End as a popular Mexican restaurant as well as a hip late night dance venue on weekend nights. Peter & Mara can be found celebrating their joie de vive with their son Ian, daughter Muriel, and hound Lemmie.
John Ryan - Manager
He can run the dining room with a smile and control the late night craziness with a calm demeanor.
He is a recent father to young John, who will take control of his independence more than he knows...
Ally Widlak - Manager
Ally is what would be considered a triple threat in the restaurant biz; she’s beautiful, she’s fast and she pours one mean drink. When she’s not behind the bar she is practicing to beat out the micro machines guy for the world record in speed talking.
Nick Dalton - Executive Chef
Our top knife slinger is excited to bring Boulder a fresh take on Mexican cuisine using an "all from scratch" approach, that Tahona is known for.
Watch for Nick cruising to and from work on a colorful 2-wheeler, that for some reason has no ability to coast without pedaling or change gears (??)
